Mr. Robert was born and raised in the neighborhood he still calls home. After health complications led to a serious surgery, navigating the steps outside his house became difficult and unsafe. With limited resources and uncertainty about his recovery, he turned to Operation Home for help. Volunteers came together to build a new wheelchair ramp, giving Mr. Robert a safer and easier way to enter and leave his home. For him, the ramp brought renewed independence and a deep sense of gratitude for the community that showed up to help.
